国道442号沿いにある道の駅鯛生金山では、地底博物館の見学や、砂金採り・草木染め・わさび・こんにゃくの加工・鯛生焼など5つの体験が出来ます。また、大自然の中で宿泊できるケビンやオートキャンプ場も整備されています。地元の特産品わさび、茶、ゆずの販売も行っています。
